               As a contestant in this site, in order for you to win, you must need to gain numbers of people who are willing to give you there full support and are committed to  sacrifice few minutes of there time each day to vote for you. 

             The more votes that the contestant earn the bigger chance of winning. For all the new members of find me a star site and especially those who are  first time voters. I hope this blog can provide you enough information on how to vote for the site's contestant. Please follow the steps given below on "How to vote in Find me a star".

Steps to vote:

1. You must need to log in first in your findmeastar account before you can vote. 

2.Search for the contestant that you want to vote.You must need to know which category  the person is joining so that you can easily find him/her.

The Categories are:

a.) Performance contest(singing videos and dance videos) 

b.)Art contest (art works) , 

c.)Photography Contest(pictures).  

Note: Category options are located on the top of the page just below the login/join button.If that person is joining the performance contest, click "View Random Top 100" (if he/she belongs in top 100), "view random contestant" or "search contestant"( search box will appear when you click this button)

• You can also just scroll down on the bottom of the home page were you can see the 5 square boxes. Click the first box who have find me a star logo on it and it will bring you to the search box, where you can type and search the name of the contestant on the blank  rectangular box on the page. Just like what you see on the pictures below

3. When you find the name of your contestant, click" view  "( below the contestant picture) to view the contestant profile.


4. Click "Submit vote" button, located on the right side of his/her profile which is in the middle of the number of votes and become a fan button.

5. After clicking the submit vote, a pop-up registration vote will appear. Select how many points you wanted to rate for the contestant, which  5 stars(10 points) is the highest and 0 star( no point) is the lowest. If you want the person to win, I suggest to choose 10 points or 5 stars each time you vote.

4. Click "Submit vote" after selecting points.

Note: You can only vote  once for each contestants a day.

After joining the site, you are now ready to log in with your account anytime you wanted. Logging in in find me star, gives you the opportunity to join there contest. Once you log in you can now start uploading videos,pictures,art works and start voting for you favorite contestant or your friends and family members whom you give your support. To log in, just follow the steps given below.

Steps to log in:

1. Open your internet browser and type in www.findmeastar.com. It will bring you to findmeastar home page.
2. Click Login, which is located on the upper right hand corner of your findmeastar page. As what have shown on the image below.

      3. After clicking Login, you will see two options on how to log in on the site.

The options are:

• Log in with one of your social network accounts such as: facebook,twitter,google,yahoo and other social site selections. 

Note: Make sure you are log in on the social  site with  the same email address that you've used when you register in find me a star to obtain a successful account connection.

• Other option is, you can log in using your find me a star account " basically your email address and  password ".

For me I prefer to log in with my social networking site because it is much faster and less complicated than using  my find me a star account. Sometimes, when you log in using your findmeastar account it will tell you to  reset your password for security update and confirmation. Just like the image below:

After clicking Reset Password, the admin will send you an email that contains your new password. Don't feel frustrated if you try to used the new password that they had provided and still you can't log in (it happens to most of the members on the site too). So, if I were you if you prefer to have an easy and stress free log-in and not experience some issues, log in using one of your social network accounts.

                 Before I'm going to tell you how to join in find me a star site, I will first give you at least an idea  of what  Find Me a Star Site is.. Find me a star is an online  site contest which features variety of different categories namely: Performance contest,art contest and Photography contest.

              The site showcases the talents of different kinds of people,gender,age(young,adult and old) and races all over the world. Every month, there will be winners. Top three contestant who has the higher votes will be pick as the winner for the month, and whoever who has the highest votes of the three will get a chance to compete in the Big Show.

Now,if you want to join the contest or if you want to vote for your friends or members of the family who are on the contest you first need to join there site since your vote will not be valid or you will not be able to vote if you are not a member of the site.
